It came at about 5 PM. Until I get some first thoughts up, here are the unboxing photos. The box converts to a stand. It came with a nice travel adapter for those overseas.
Hey, Quick question for you since you seem to be one of the few active adam bloggers around. If Does the screen appear to be odd dimensions? when comparing it to a xoom it seems as if the adam is long and thin...much more rectangular than desirable. i too order an LCD adam, just want some verification that it looks nice and all. do you plan on trying to use a stylus with it? we are all dying for someone to demo this:-)
I have a capacitive stylus to use if you would like a video. I wouldn't say that it has odd dimensions, but the keyboard is a bit small in portrait mode. Most of the use is in landscape mode so I haven't had a problem with it. The screen is quite to my liking. I would have no use for a PQ, and I seem to be one of the few bloggers that have an LCD variant.
This is excellent to hear/read. And yeah, if you would make that video with the stylus and post the link here i will post it over at NIF tons of people want to see this. Did you notice any changes in your order number before it shipped? my order number went from xxxxxxxx01-01 to xxxxxxxx01-0, and now xxxxxxxx01, hoping it will ship out friday.
I did not notice any changes as I didn't even pay attention to the number. I'm not sure why you want a stylus use video. Do you mean a seriuos capacitive stylus because I just have a pogo stylus.

ReplyDeletepogo stylus is fine. If you check out the fan sites everybody wants to see how reactive the adam is to the stylus, if there is a delay etc.
